Espresso Martini is a sophisticated and energizing alcoholic cocktail that is loved by many. It originated in England, London, in a small bar; it was made by experiment in the 80s as a 'wake me up' drink and has now become one of the top ten of the most popular cocktails brought in nightclubs, bars and restaurants.
This recipe has a sweeter kick twist to it and is so easy to make. If you do not want to do the salted caramel twist simply remove salt and caramel syrup and you have a traditional espresso martini recipe.

- Ice cubes (8)
- Coffee liqueur (25ml)
- Premium vodka (50ml)
- Fresh espresso (50ml)
- Caramel syrup (10ml)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- Coffee beans to serve
- Fill your martini glass up with some ice to make them nice and cold then remove before serving as it will water down the martini. Add some ice to the cocktail shaker to the top.
- Put all the ingredients into the shaker without the coffee beans and shake well to combine them all. Remember to secure the lid before shaking. This is liquid gold.
- Pour into as many glasses as you can, top with the coffee beans for an elegant touch and serve.
