Moon river was released in October of 1961. It was produced by Dick Pierce and Joe Reisman and composed by Henry Mancini. However Aurdrey was the one to perform the song in the film. The song is most known for the popular film called 'breakfast at tiffany's'. The song meaning was about johnny mercers childhood and how he was reminiscing and missing what he done as a young boy.
