Born to Die by Lana Del Rey (Kalimba Tab)

The song 'Born to Die' was originally recorded by American singer songwriter Lana Del Rey and was released in 2011. It was featured on her album that was also called Born to Die". The lyrics were co-written by herself and Justin Parker. Lana del rey was only 26 years old when she released the song and it went on to peak at #2 on the Billboard charts selling 77,000 copies.

The meaning of the song is open to interpretation but could refer to an 'unstable and abusive relationship with regular drug use. The term born to die seems less to do with death and more to do with their relationship coming to its end with the lyrics: "Because you and I, we were born to die".
