The dark wave pop song called ‘Play Date’ was written by Melanie Martinez and Jennifer Decilveo and produced by Michael Keenan. It was released on the 14th of August 2015 and the chart history shows that the single hit peak position No. 2 in Belgium and No. 1 in Swedish heat seeker.
In the video a girl answers the phone and her friends listen closely to what the caller has to say to her, then it cuts to the girls all getting ready and dressed up, the man comes in with two roses and kisses the girl, then all four people go on stage and begin to harmonise with each other. There is not much story going on with this video in my opinion.
