What Musical Instruments are made from Copper?

The alphorn is a Swiss Alpine instrument is made with copper fittings and bell sections to amplify its warm earthy sound which adds depth. Some modern didgeridoos that are traditionally crafted from wood sometimes incorporate copper elements to enhance their deep vibrating tones.

There are many wind instruments that are made from copper, have coper components or alloys of copper that are used to enhance the sound. Flutes someimtes incorporate copper alloys into the head joint to enrich the tone. This is the same with other brass instruments like saxophones too.

Gongs and Timpani

Large gongs use copper to reverberate the sound, this is widely known for traditional insturment making and for modern music. Timpani drums also have copper alloys which adds depth and drama to orchestral performances.
