Jingle Bells (Kalimba Tab)

Jingle Bells is a very well known song that was originally written by James Lord Pierpont. The song was inspired by the open sleigh cart-horse races during 1857. It has been since associated with the season of Christmas due to 'Santa and his sleigh', however, that is not how the songwriter originally intended.

Instead, the song was designed for Thanksgiving, in which sleigh races were extremely popular and would provide towns with entertainment for days. Nonetheless, the song today reminds everyone of their favourite time of year. A time of year in which families come together, buy presents for one another and eat food until they can’t eat anymore. Jingle bells is one of the easiest songs to play on the kalimba and the thumb piano, Its played in the key of C major and is truly a Christmas classic.
