The Ghanta bell comes with a Vajra which is also known as a Dorje in Tibet, when translated the word means thunderbolt and diamond which represents the indestructibility of the diamond and the force of the thunderbolt. The Dorje is used as a striker for the Ghanta bell. This bell is made from solid brass metal and is known as Ghanta in Buddhism which symbolises wisdom and purpose.
It is commonly used in Buddhist rituals to bring positive vibes during meditation with a mantra to achieve a body mind connection. The dorje set is a dharma object that is used for enlightenment. Bells have been used all throughout history for many different purposes, for example they are used in churches, in wartime and to announce news of sorrow or joy. You can use the Ghanta bell with the Vajra to produce an auspicious sound during prayers to attract beneficial spirits and scare away bad ones.
