This gourd thumb piano is the largest version of our thumb pianos with upgraded sprung steel keys and a large resonating Gourd fruit shell. Size and design will vary. This fair trade kalimba would make a perfect gift for any passionate musician, it has an intricate dot painted pattern design.
There are many songs that you can play for the gourd thumb piano. Whilst it is quite simple to play, knowing how to play with the correct technique can be a little more difficult. The notes sound like a relaxing soothing baby lullaby, making a similar sound effect to a music box which is likely due to the metal tines. Please note the kalimba may come untuned and will require tuning.
