This fojo shaker is made of two halved calabash, filled with pebbles and fixed to a stick. It has been decorated by burning geometric lines and Adinkra symbols into the wood. Looks good - sounds good! Made in Ghana, Africa and is approximately 30cm, fairly traded, we also have this not fixed to a stick which is known as a co-co shaker. A truly unique percussive musical instrument.
