Leaves from the vine was originally written by Michael Dante Dimartino and composed by Jeremy Zuckerman and Benjamin Wynn. The song was sung during the second season episode 15 of Avatar the Last Airbender known as Tales of Ba Sing Se. Which was released September 29, 2006. The voice actor of Iroh named Mako Iwamatsu sang this song. This episode was dedicated to Mako as he passed away shortly before it’s release. Fans know this song also as “Mako’s song”.
