Metallica - Nothing else matters (kalimba tab)

The original release date was the 20th of April 1992. Still, various versions of 'nothing else matters' have been, including a cover by Apocalyptica in 1998, Shakira in 2011 and Tulia in 2018. James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, wrote the song and Bob Rock, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich produced the music. The chart history of this pop-rock song shows that it reached number 1 in Denmark, peaked at no. Three in Norway and no. 5 in Switzerland.

The music video begins with beautiful visuals of the instruments played in the song and the studio set up before they begin. The video contains home scenes of the band having fun playing pool, signing autographs, laughing, practising together.

The song Nothing else matters were so successful because it could be interpreted in many ways and mean something different to each person. For example, someone on YouTube commented on how he was a heroin addict on his deathbed, and for him, the song used to represent his addiction to the drug and how nothing else mattered.

After getting off the drugs in rehab, the song reminded him of his accomplishments in becoming clean, and not only that, he believed the song saved his life. It just shows that music can be a powerful energy that we can tap into, and this song is one of those powerful energies for millions of people.
While you're here, feel free to play around with the notes below to have a jam on the kalimba. Right now, this is the most important thing for you to do; remember that nothing else matters. Although you probably should get up and go to work! 😂
