The Toko Guiro Shaker is a smooth 3in1 musical instrument that was handcrafted from fast growing bamboo cane in Bali. The Toko Guiro Shaker triples as a shaker with a crisp tone, a small rainstick maker that can be tilted to recreate the sound of rain from the small stones inside but also the chunky ridges on the side of the instrument produce a scratchy raspy sound.
As well as being made from bamboo, the tubular instrument has rattan at the ends and is sealed with softwood that is sometimes left natural or painted black to highlight the product. This diverse music instrument is definitely one that you want to add to your collection as it is so versatile in the studio and is great for music lessons. Sometimes a clear non toxic varnish is applied to our musical instruments to give them a shiny finish and provide protection.
