This beautiful sheesham Mancala board game is one of the oldest games in the world, the origin of the game is unknown but is estimated that it could have come from Sudan, Ghana, Egypt or Ethiopia. The word mancala comes from the arabic word that means "to move". Some examples of this game have been found in Egyptian ruins carved into roofs during 1400 B.C.E.

The hand crafted Mancala board game comes complete with a set of marbles. The aim of the game is to get the most marbles and the player with the most at the end wins. Playing this game will reinforce strategic thinking, and improve counting skills.
