The BEST face mask for your skin

Are you looking for the best face mask for your skin? With so many options out there, it can be tough to find the perfect one. In this blog post, we'll explore which face masks to avoid as well as which ones are the healthiest for your skin. To be clear we haven't tried every possible type of face mask as there are thousands of different ones but we have tried a lot so let's explore them.

DIY Face masks

Making your own face mask is an easy way to ensure that it is both natural and healthy because you have full control over the ingredients that use ensuring no harsh chemicals go on your skin. We have tried two DIY face masks and they both left the skin feeling moisturised whilst providing plenty of health benefits but they are not ideal.

Turmeric, yoghurt and honey face mask

Turmeric is known for its anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce redness and acne. When paired with natural yogurt and honey, it can improve skin texture and even out skin tone. However, turmeric can stain the skin, so it's important to use it in moderation and balance it with other ingredients. While trying out a DIY turmeric face mask, I found that it stained my face for days and wouldn't recommend it.

Avocado and cucumber face mask

This face mask left my skin feeling fresh but the cold ingredients didn't feel very nice, and the face mask didn't give me good coverage as it was watery and lumpy both at the same time.

Face masks to avoid

From our experience, you should avoid face masks like the self-heating sauna face mask, which doesn't produce any heat and has plenty of chemicals. Also avoid the charcoal bubble face mask, which can burn your skin and eyes. The foam face mask we tried was cool because it bubbles on your face, but it doesn't feel nice on your hands or face. Sadie's skin reacted badly to it, and it made my skin really dry. The charcoal face mask is supposed to remove blackheads, but we're not sure if it actually works or not.

The best face mask for dry skin

When choosing a face mask for dry skin, look for ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and squalene, which help to nourish and hydrate the skin. Some masks can be applied for a quick fix, while others can be left on overnight for maximum effectiveness.

Some other popular options include: PCA SKIN Hyaluronic Acid Overnight Skin Care Face Mask, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask, Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, Avène Antirougeurs CALM Soothing Repair Mask, Eau Thermale Avéne Soothing Radiance Mask, Cosmedix Rescue Intense Hydrating Balm & Mask, Charlotte Tilbury Multi Miracle Glow, Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Mask Hydrating Gel, Glossier Moisturising Moon Mask, Tatcha Violet-C Radiance Mask, Pai Skincare Resurrection Girl, Philosophy Nature In a Jar Skin Rehab Balm with Wheatgrass, Paula's Choice Hydrating Treatment Mask.

The best sheet mask

When choosing a sheet mask, look for ingredients that will address your skin concerns, such as dryness, redness, or loss of elasticity. Keep in mind that sheet masks can be wasteful, so it's important to check materials and brand sourcing practices. Some highly rated sheet masks include but are not limited to: Soon Skincare Biocellulose Brightening Face Mask, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hydrating 100% Hydrogel Mask, SpackNK mask, Mediheal D.N.A Hydrating Protein Mask.

The best face mask for your health (Video)

After hours of research, I discovered Corrine Taylor, a company that makes face masks containing natural ingredients like bentonite clay, kaolin clay, and French green clay. Corinne Taylor face mask are 100% natural, vegan, and cruelty-free, with no nasties. The face mask feels a bit scratchy, like it's going to scratch off any dead skin, but it feels really nice and soft. It does exactly what it says on the pot and helps with spots. The eucalyptus in it makes me feel relaxed and refreshed. These face masks can be mixed with water and are suitable for various skin types.

The best natural face mask you can get is the one that suits your skin type. If you have dry skin, oily skin, or acne-prone skin, the Corrine Taylor face masks are a great option. Avoid face masks that contain harmful ingredients and stick to natural ones for the best results. After using Corinne Taylor face masks we decided to become a stockist so that we could promote and sell these face masks as we believe that they are the best.
